Our beers available all over Sweden

The following beers are available to order by the bottle to any Systembolaget shop in Sweden at no extra cost. They are also available at the Systembolaget shops  in  Linköping, Motala, Mjölby, Vadstena, Finspång, Norrköping (Blygatan) and Ölstudion in Gothenburg.

Vreta Kloster dubbel

A belgian dubbel at 7,4%. Spicy with mild fruitiness and a dry finish.

St: Lars 13

A Belgian quadruple at 11,3% with distinct notes from both the malt and added sugar. Full bodied, fruity, vinous with some sweetness and a long finish.

Nun Gluten Blonde


A gluten-free Belgian blonde at 6.8% with wonderfully spicy and fruity notes and a dry finish. The beer is brewed together with Brewgineers in Gothenburg, who only brew Gluten free beers.

Den vita nunnan

A Belgian wit (4,5%) spiced with orange peel and coriander seeds. Together with a high level of carbonation, you are offered a fresh tasing experience with aroma and tase of citrus, spiciness and some maltiness

Vreta kloster matersbier

A Belgian single/enkel/patersbier at 5% with a light body that is combined with clear spiciness, some fruitiness and a lovely finishing bitterness. High level of carbonation in combination with being well attenuated contributes to a fresh finish. A type of beer that is still brewed at Trappist abbeys for the monks’ own consumption.

Vreta kloster special

A beer inspired by the Spéciale Belge beer style that saw the light of day in 1905. In our interpretation of the beer style, we offer a 5.8% beer where the fruitiness and spiciness produced by the Belgian yeast is combined with light notes of caramel from the malt. High level of carbonation contributes to a fresh finish.

Den blonda nunnan

A Belgian blonde of 6.8% spiced with orange peel and licorice root. The beer has a medium body. Initial taste of light maltiness quickly turns into lovely fruitiness with clear notes of citrus. High level of carbonation combined with being well attenuated offers a refreshing and dry finish.

Le Monde de la Bière

 

A traditional Belgian Saison at 6.2%. The yeast contributes to lovely notes of fruit and spiciness. The fruitiness is further enhanced by using American hops at the end of brewing. A well attenuated beer with a dry mouthfeel, which makes the beer excellent for food pairing.

Nunnans skördeöl

A Belgian Double-Saison of 7.4% with medium body, clear fruitiness and spiciness. Could be described as “funky” with mild acicity. Overall a very well balanced beer with a high level of carbonation and a dry finish

St. Helena

A Belgian strong amber ale of 8.8%. Clear notes of caramel are combined with distinct fruitiness and some spiciness. Low levels of hops contribute to the beer being perceived as somewhat sweet. High level of carbonation contributes to a fresh finish.

Vreta kloster trippel

   

A Belgian triple of 9.2% with a medium body that offers clear fruitiness, some spiciness, and slight sweet maltiness. A light note of alcohol shines through as befits this style of beer. A slightly higher level of added hops contributes to medium bitterness.

Abbedissan 12

A Belgian dark strong ale, sometimes referred to as quadruple, at 10%. The high level of added dark candy sugar contributes to the color, aroma and taste of the beer. Complex notes of dried fruit, light spiciness, and burnt sugar. Can be stored with advantage for many years.

Pestdoktorns belgiska dubbel-IPA

A Belgian double IPA at 8.5% with a full malt body. Here, the best of both worlds is combined. The Belgian yeast offers clear fruitiness that is combined with the fruitiness of the American hops. Final bitterness is enhanced by a dry finish.

Nunnans belgiska stout

A Belgian imperial stout of 10% brewed together with Poppel’s brewery in Gothenburg. It offers lovely flavors of dried fruit with light notes of chocolate. As we use a Belgian yeast strain, the beer, unlike ordinary imperial stouts, is well attenuated. This results in a dry finish.

Vreta Kloster Grand Cru

Each September (starting in 2022) we release a limited edition of our flagship beer – a Belgian quadruple in large bottles of 10.2% brewed with secret spices which contribute to the beer’s aroma and taste. Can be enjoyed when you buy it. But is stored with advantage for many years.

Vreta klosters julöl

Before every Christmas (starting in 2021) we release a 10.2% beer based on our award-winning quadruple. Each year with a new combination of spices. In this way, each year’s Christmas beer becomes unique. Regardless of the seasoning, a complex and flavorful beer is offered that is excellent on its own or with the cheese tray and Christmas sweets.

Before each Easter (starting in 2023) we release a 10.2% beer based on our award-winning quadruple with a new combination of spices each year. In this way, each year’s Easter beer becomes unique. Regardless of seasoning, a complex and flavorful beer is offered that is excellent on its own or with the cheese tray and Easter sweets.
